Eclipses as Cosmic Interventions

You are probably aware by now that we have entered the eclipse portal. During eclipse season, times are indeed strange. Eclipses bring cosmic interventions, moments in life when suddenly and unexpectedly your life changes direction. If your chart makes a close relationship with an eclipse, you may even feel the reverberations for months before and after the exact day of the eclipse.
The first eclipse of October 2023 is TOMORROW! Exact on October 14th at 10:59 am PDT/1:59 EDT-this New Moon Solar eclipse is at 21 degrees of Libra and square a newly direct Pluto in Capricorn. (The New Moon is exact at 10:55 am PDT/1:55 EDT)
Venus, the planet of love, values and resources rules this eclipse-but her natural partner, Mars is equally powerful because the planet of motion, just moved into Scorpio (its traditional ruler) and over the next week will be approaching the degree of the 2nd eclipse taking place later this month on October 28th.
Venus and Mars also just so happen to be the rulers of the transiting North (Aries) and South (Libra) of fate-coincidence? I think not…
Our current time has some very clear Venus/Mars themes at play: love/war, peace/conflict, beauty/ugliness, cowardice/courage, inaction/action.
Some of the themes of the New Moon in Libra Eclipse include: birthing new visions of justice, feeling forced to discover the nature of peace, meeting the crumbling systems of our societies with a focus on equality, finding beauty and harmony in the midst of destruction.
The house, planets and points that connect with 21 degrees of Libra in your natal chart will paint a more precise picture of how this eclipse effects you personally.
For the most part the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn), will experience the dominant effects of this eclipse event.
But if you have any of your personal planets (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars) near 18-24 degrees of the Cardinal Signs, you are even more likely to feel the effects of a “Cosmic Intervention”.
For those of you who are living in alignment with your truest self and expressing the bones of your being-the Cosmic Intervention manifests as a kind of spiritual nudge-giving you affirmation to keep going, to stay on your path.

In my own life, there have been eclipse cycles that were uncomfortable, messy and just plain HARD. I’m not gonna lie, in the middle of these “cosmic interventions” I was praying they would end soon. But always. after the eclipse cyclone has passed, I wouldn’t have wished it to be any different.
There was the eclipse season that was conjunct my natal North/South node axis when I’d reached a peak of pain and suffering with my chronic condition of adenomyosis. I was miserable, desperate and tired of the constant pain, so I made up my mind to have a hysterectomy. Contrary to many astrological catastrophistas, I had the surgery the week of the New Moon eclipse which took place in my 6th house of wellness and health conjunct my North Node in Pisces-and Saturn was conjunct my Mars too….
Guess what? That surgery completely and instantaneously ended my 14 year journey of chronic illness-it’s been almost 8 years since my surgery-I haven’t had a symptom since. BOOM! 14 years of a mystery illness-solved in one day. This is how eclipses work: rearranging and obliterating anything that stands in the way of YOUR TRUE SELF.
